Manager Global Sales and Operations Planning

About This Role:As the Manager, Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), you will lead the end-to-end S&OP process to ensure optimal demand-supply balancing across relevant regions and product portfolios. This role is integral to orchestrating monthly and annual S&OP cycles, integrating demand forecasts from commercial teams with supply chain capabilities, and driving alignment between Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain functions. You will ensure demand plans are reliable, proactively manage supply risks, and optimize inventory levels to support business objectives and patient needs. Leading a structured monthly S&OP cycle, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure consensus on demand forecasts and supply plans. Your efforts will significantly impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ultimately supporting our mission to deliver life-transforming therapies.What You'll Do:Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and validation of demand forecasts from affiliates and business units.Pressure test submissions with market insights and scenario analysis.Work closely with Commercial and Finance teams to validate demand plans and align with business targets.Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics to translate demand plans into actionable supply strategies.Assess supply capabilities and constraints, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.Monitor key S&OP metrics such as forecast accuracy and order changes.Serve as the integration point between Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners.Identify opportunities to enhance S&OP processes, tools, and systems.Promote best practices, standardization, and process automation.Who You Are:You are a strategic thinker with a talent for orchestrating complex processes and driving cross-functional collaboration. Your excellent communication skills enable you to present clear recommendations and decisions to senior management, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.Required Skills:University bachelor's degree or equivalent.At least 3 years of professional experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning within the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to distill complex topics into clear, actionable points.Effective organizational skills for managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.Preferred Skills:Experience with process automation and standardization initiatives.Familiarity with market insights and scenario analysis.
