Whether you're shaping better care experiences or supporting customers through life's key moments, your work will matter Grow with us—and help shape the future of healthcare About The Role As a Compliance Officer, you will support the development, implementation and embedding of the regulatory compliance framework for Cigna with a particular attention to acting as local compliance officer to the Swiss branch of CEIC and advising on Cigna entity interactions with Swiss clients ("Swiss Business").You will be a member of the European Compliance Team whilst also supporting and being accountable to the Head of the Swiss Branch You'll Be Responsible For: Support the team, by acting as subject matter expert on Swiss Business-centric compliance obligations applicable to our insurance intermediaries and insurers.Act towards FINMA as the local compliance responsible of the Swiss branch of CEICEffect and curate all required regulatory filings with FINMA regarding Cigna entitiesCo-ordinate responses to any regulatory risk assessments, visits, audit processes or information requests, and provide accurate informationAdapt and maintain the framework of compliance policies and procedures to support business practices, promote ethical standards and ensure regulatory and legal compliance; take ownership for the Compliance Manual for Swiss BusinessHandle Swiss complaintsMaintain Swiss corporate commercial and data protection filingsAdvise on insurance products and filings for admitted products.Advise the business on the implementation of relevant compliance risk processes, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance in that respect.Review internal controls in that respect.Support the delivery of the annual compliance strategy and planConduct horizon scanning on upcoming regulations with a Swiss nexus of importance to our Belgian entities and their Swiss branches and/or Swiss businessPropose and drive enhancements to compliance processes to ensure the compliance framework remains relevant for the current business structure and is aligned to best practiceActively promote and embed a positive compliance culture throughout the business and promote the capabilities of the compliance team to provide high quality, cost effective and focused advice and support in respect of business initiativesBuild and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that service delivery meets the business' expectationsLiaise with other business and independent internal control functions to ensure a coordinated approachProvide process management and support for the meetings of the Comite de Direction for CEIC Swiss branch and/or Swiss Business and participate in other committees as requiredWhat You'll Bring to the Role Knowledge of the European and Swiss legal and compliance framework for insurance activitiesStrategic thinker, able to recommend solutions that balance business and risk perspectivesBusiness fluent in written and spoken English as well as being fluent in Swiss GermanAble to make efficient use of MS Office 365 applicationsAble to perform basic data analyses using appropriate tools or willingness to acquire such skills within a reasonable amount of time Why You'll Love Working here • Competitive salary• Multicultural and hybrid working environment• Private Medical Insurance• Employee Wellbeing Benefits• Educational Development Program Please note that you must meet our posting guidelines to be eligible for consideration.
