Position Title: Co-Founder & Director of Business Development (Partner Level)
Activity Rate: 20-40% (1 to 2 days per week)
Location: Zurich Gallery (Mandatory attendance for working days)
Our Mission:
FDM Fine Crafts (Luxury Art Gallery & Artisan Agent) is a benchmark in promoting European excellence. We are the exclusive agents of four prestigious design houses in Switzerland and recently opened a contemporary design gallery in Zurich. We are launching a major R&D project aimed at creating spectacular and unprecedented architectural interior structures. We merge fine craftsmanship with innovative technical processes to redefine luxury fit-out. Our ambition is to become the global leader in this segment, targeting luxury houses, prestigious architecture firms, and high-end retail.
The Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a partner whose core mission is to drive sales for our existing businesses and strategically commercialize our new technology. The role requires an initial dedication of 20-40% of their time, with the understanding that this workload will increase significantly as the company's sales and market adoption develop.
- Commercial Execution (Immediate Focus):
- Drive immediate sales and business growth for the existing Zurich gallery and the agent activity.
- Manage and cultivate high-value client relationships, particularly within the Swiss HNWI community and the art sphere.
- Innovation Commercialization (Future Focus):
- Lead the market launch and sales of our new Architectural Innovation Project once the final stage of R&D is complete.
- Leverage the existing network to secure pilot projects and establish the new product as the industry standard.
- Strategic & Operational Structuring (Ongoing):
- Define the overall monetization strategy and participate in strategic decisions (pricing, positioning).
Your Ideal Profile:
You are more than just an investor; you are a proven entrepreneur with a strong, actionable network:
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of successful experience in business development, high-end B2B sales, or project management within the luxury, art, architecture, or real estate sectors.
- Network is Essential: A strong, existing network of High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) in Switzerland and key players within the global art, design, and luxury sphere is essential.
- Skills & Mindset (Sales Focus):
- Proven negotiation and closing skills in high-value, long-cycle sales environments.
- Exceptional proficiency in client relationship management (CRM) and relationship building within the exclusive luxury and artistic community.
- Must-Have Passion: A deep passion for design, craftsmanship, and a desire to contribute to more soulful living through high-quality, meaningful interior environments.
- Financial Commitment: Ability to invest 120,000 to 150,000 CHF. This investment will be structured via a Convertible Loan (Prêt Convertible) that converts to equity at a later valuation event.
