Electronics Engineering Intern

We are looking for a 6-month intern available within the period of February to September 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of the electronics for our implantable and external neurostimulation platforms under to supervision and tutelage of senior engineering staff
  • Gain independent design experience through independent work, and build team skills by supporting larger development projects
  • Develop test tools for characterisation and design verification
  • Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines including mechanical, firmware, human factors, systems/therapy development, and with other departments including quality assurance, clinical and regulatory affairs
  • Investigate, prototype, and analyse new features, design options, and electronics/electrical subassemblies
  • Apply Design for Reliability & Manufacturing tools, including concept development, modelling & simulation, sensitivity/tolerance analysis, and stress analysis

  • Work within a highly regulated environment, learning and applying design control methods, applicable standards, and technical and formal review processes

  • Enrolled in an engineering degree program in electrical engineering, or similar

  • Demonstrated hands-on engineering skills through internships, student teams, and/or other extracurriculars
  • Advanced level of English
  • Applicants must already hold a valid Swiss work/student permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship)
