Role Description:

The Investment Associate is a key member of the private equity investment team, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investment opportunities. This role involves conducting detailed financial and operational analysis, developing investment theses, participating in due diligence processes, and supporting portfolio management activities. The Associate works closely with senior team members, portfolio company management, and external advisors to help drive value creation across the investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing in-depth financial modeling and valuation (DCF, LBO, comparables, etc.).
  • Supporting the end-to-end deal process, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and execution.
  • Conducting industry research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments.
  • Preparing investment memoranda and presenting findings to the investment committee.
  • Collaborating with management teams of portfolio companies to monitor performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assisting in fundraising efforts, including data room preparation and investor presentations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with investment banks, advisors, and industry experts to source deal flow.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
  • 0–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of private equity investment processes and value creation strategies.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • CFA or progress toward the designation is a plus.
