Job Overview
The Global Head of Cyber Security is identifying and assessing security risk, developing the cyber security strategy, proposing and implementing cyber security measures and is taking ownership on the company's continual development of cyber security processes and controls:

  • Plan and lead the strategic, operational, and secure management of ICT system services, meeting the current and future needs of the company whilst ensuring the service provision is cost-effective, reliable, and customer-focused (internal and external)
  • Proactively engage with external agencies, partners, suppliers and customers to further enhance the cyber security profile of the company
  • Effectively contribute to the company's overall management and policy framework supporting corporate objectives

Main Responsibilities
Cyber Security

  • Developing a basis for identifying legal and regulatory requirements, compliance and policies affecting cyber security (i.e. ISO27001, NIST2)
  • Ensuring ongoing monitoring of the threat situation
  • Implementing a business wide cyber security risk management process
  • Identifying and assessing general security risks
  • Coordinating the development of comprehensive cyber security strategies
  • Defining the internal organization intended to ensure information security
  • Incorporating escalation procedures into the business continuity plan
  • Report the maturity and effectiveness of the SHL cyber security on a regular base to the stakeholders

Management

  • Participate in the process of service improvement, review and change
  • Participate in the development of a culture which is consistent with the company's vision and ensure the delivery of efficient and effective services
  • Promote the best value and continuous improvement within the cyber security section
  • Deliver targets within the cyber security section
  • Fully participate in FTE planning and budgeting process
  • Team Size: 4 team members located in 3 regions (Taiwan, US, EU)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in establishing cybersecurity and risk metrics for reporting
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence with demonstrated sustained leadership in a large organization involving multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated management skills, e.g., budget development and administration, policy development and implementation, personnel administration, staff training and development
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
