Lead excellence in biologics logistics as a German-speaking Warehouse & Logistics Lead driving compliance and performance.

R&D Partners is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Lead (German-Speaking) to oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of warehouse and logistics functions within a biologics-focused organization. This role requires adherence to strict GMP and GDP regulations and offers an opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic and operational aspects of warehouse and logistics functions, ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
  • Ensure efficient warehousing, picking, and shipping processes while maintaining compliance with relevant standards.
  • Manage or contribute to deviations, change requests, and CAPAs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory management, optimize warehouse organization, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Lead or support cross-departmental projects, including system launches, facility expansions, and integration of new service providers.
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, purchasing, and external service providers for seamless operations.
  • Utilize and enhance ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) to control and document logistics processes.
  • Prepare for and support audits and inspections conducted by authorities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in logistics, business administration, pharmaceutical technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a management position.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations and their practical application.
  • Proven experience managing projects in logistics or warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP).
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with high initiative.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
