***You will be responsible for planning, setting up and running the department of logistics in our new commercial GMP production plant in Visp to ensure the services according to current state-of-the-art high-quality requirements. Coordination and optimization of the logistic management from projects, organization and value stream perspective will be part of your role as well as ensuring & monitoring the achievements of defined targets. You will live the vision and culture of the company and cultivate the exchange of information

**My Main tasks will be**:

- Accountable for our site in **Visp** for the warehousing and material management activities related to receiving, issuing, material storage, material handling (disposition, consumption and process order bookings), allocation of direct and indirect material to support manufacturing, and disposition
- Responsibility for inbound and outbound logistics as well as warehouse and inventory management (i.e. cold chain requirements)
- Accountable for leading and directing accurate & compliant setup, execution and governance of physical material flows and warehousing activities for the site in Visp ensuring a reliable global market supply through transparent and accurate planning information, launch coordination, label management, product change and transfer management, as well as the associated SAP/MES system including master data management
- Responsible for driving standardization, optimization for all warehouse processes to ensure compliant product storage, transportation and distribution to optimize time and costs
- You create and monitor the logistic KPI’s (e.g. evaluation of TARGET & ACTUAL values) and regularly coordinate them with the management
- You further develop internal company processes with colleagues across departments
- You have the budget responsibility of the logistics teams
- Support logistic audits

**I bring with me**:

- University Degree preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics or further education in the field of Logistics
- You have several years of professional experience in a management position and in logistics or in a comparable position (e.g. as regional manager, operations manager, logistics manager, project manager) within the regulated GMP environment in Biotechnology / Pharma/Chemicals industry
- You are an independent, solution-oriented and responsible person
- You bring along an economic thinking ability
- Acts and behaves as a role model to leverage entire Site Logistics organization
- You know how to lead, motivate and inspire employees
- Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
- You have good IT skills in the area of merchandise management and MS Office
- Fluency in German and English is required
