A leading international organization Lausanne is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its legal team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping and maintaining internal legal frameworks, including the development of standardized documentation and procedures.
  • Provide legal guidance on a variety of operational matters, including partnerships, service agreements, and external collaborations.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts across different areas of the organization, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk tolerance.
  • Contribute to internal awareness and understanding of legal and regulatory obligations through training and advisory support.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives requiring legal input, including procurement, compliance, and institutional governance.
  • Support the legal team in managing day-to-day legal queries and ensuring consistent documentation and record-keeping.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree in Swiss law (Bachelor or Master) is mandatory;
  • 5/8 years of relevant experience, ideally including in-house exposure; law firm experience also considered.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and procurement processes is beneficial.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail and organizational discipline.

Practical, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.

Positive, creative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
