Design Manager - Switzerland, Zurich - 12 Month Contract
This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.
Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Design Manager. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.
What You'll Do
- Lead development and improvement of design standards and specifications.
- Oversee procurement and vendor selection, ensuring value engineering and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and manage design changes across teams.
- Ensure quality, risk mitigation, and adherence to codes and customer requirements.
- Mentor design teams and foster a culture of excellence.
What you'll need:
- Degree in construction management, building services engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of critical cooling and power infrastructure.
- Familiarity with European construction markets and building codes.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
