Responsible for providing critical support to the front desks by ensuring that all trade-related activities are properly captured, verified, and settled in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Verify and confirm trades executed by the front office, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade details

  • Maintain accurate position records, reconcile trading activity against external sources (e.g. custodians, exchanges), and investigate any discrepancies

  • Coordinate with settlement teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, resolving any issues that may arise during the process

  • Provide data and analysis to risk management teams to help identify potential risks and exposures

  • Assist with audits, regulatory exams, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies

  • Voluntary corporate action experience, i.e., tenders, cap raises (rights issues), is essential

  • Sound knowledge of trade capture systems

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II

  • Proficient in MS Office and other software applications used by the department

  • Relevant experience in a trading-related role in back or middle office

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
