Join Julius Baer's Securities Lending Team as an Intern and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our trading operations

You will collaborate closely with experienced traders and a wide range of internal stakeholders to maintain and improve solutions that enhance efficiency and client service excellence

This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully while building expertise in capital markets, collateral optimisation, and innovation

  • Trade Securities Lending Books and provide Short Covering for Clients and Bank

  • Provide overall support to the Securities Lending & Collateral Management Team

  • Assist the Team through automation of existing processes

  • Work with developers to build and expand technological solutions to analyse and improve trading performance

  • Expand business further with help of robotic trading execution

  • Building strong working relationships with internal teams, including understanding their daily processes

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Computer Science/Engineering

  • Previous working experience in Finance will be considered an asset

  • Programming skills (VBA, Python and/or SQL) are preferred

  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written in English, German/French is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills, clear and structured thought processes

  • Creative thinker and comfortable taking initiative in pursuing new opportunities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
