People and Operations Specialist (fixed term contract - mat cover % January October 2026

Blue Matter is a rapidly growing strategic consulting firm serving clients in the life sciences industry. We partner with our clients to help them achieve commercial success across the lifecycle of their products, portfolios and organizations. Our project types include new product planning, launch strategy & planning, brand & life cycle planning and corporate & portfolio strategy, across a variety of specialty therapeutic areas.

Primary Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities of the HR Specialist 50-80% will include, but are not limited to the following:

Scheduling and organising phone screens and assessment centres for Zurich and LondonSupporting the Europe People Director with HR administrative activitiesProviding in-person, local office operational support as needed for the Zurich office 

Desired Experience and Skills

2+ years experience in a similar roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and GermanSuperb organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workExtremely tech-savvyProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint a MUSTAbility to quickly build proficiency in other programsPassionate, curious and open-minded personality with proactive approach to anticipating the needs of our teamAbility to work in an agile and dynamic environment, flexing to support the needs of our teamPlease note this role can be hybrid between in-person/remote working, but will require a minimum of 2.5 days in-person at the Blue Matter Zurich officeCH work authorisation
