Join our Systems Engineering team as a working student and help shape the future of model-based systems engineering at Belimo. In this role, you will enhance our systems engineering toolchain by developing Python-based solutions that improve usability, streamline workflows, and automate recurring processes. Your contributions will play a key part in creating a seamless and intuitive user experience for our engineering community.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to extend tool functionality
  • Integrate REST APIs to automate workflows within the used tools
  • Design and implement user-friendly GUI interfaces
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and implement tool improvements and document technical processes and support internal user

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming in Python (show us your repo if possible)
  • Ideally experience with REST APIs, familiarity with GUI development (e.g., Tkinter, PyQt); exposure to iQUAVIS or similar Systems Engineering tools
  • Interest in model-based systems engineering
  • Fluency in English or German
