Our opportunity:

As the International Insights & Analytics Director for Burger King, you will be responsible for generating all guest's insights, influencing a holistic understanding of the brand globally, and translating knowledge & insights into actions to unleash the real growth opportunities.
This position is a key business partner in developing and co-creating effective brand, innovation and marketing strategies that can be translated into sales growth for International and regional teams (EMEA, APAC and LAC). This role will provide critical thought leadership to the cross functional teams on key initiatives.

It is located in Zug, Switzerland, will report to the International Head of Strategy & Insights.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The employment agreement for this role will be issued by an external third-party vendor.

Your roles & responsibilities:

  • Create the guest's insights culture, making sure we delight our guests experience and that all solutions are created to fulfill a human need.
  • Work together with Burger King global team to define and deliver the optimal research plan every year.
  • Strong analytical background to be able to correlate the marketing strategies and actions with sales to recommend key activities that bring additional business results.
  • Lead the Brand Health Tracking: a) vendor management & governance, global platform ownership, program expansion and innovation, reporting and insights integration
  • Identify opportunities and white spaces based on guest experience & insights to keep improving our business results.
  • Create research guidelines and toolkits from scratch for different methodologies and deploy it in a unique and effective way to guide regions and Franchisees, making sure everybody uses a standardized process in all regions.
  • Be a fact-based guests voice in the business process and decision making.

Your skills & experience:

  • 10+ years in a highly visible Consumer Insights Department from FMCG and/or QSR companies, skilled in strategy development.
  • Clear and inspiring communicator and storyteller.
  • Has managed research budget with high pressure, short timelines and high speed.
  • Experience working with different countries at the same time to easily identify commonalities and specific realities in different places.
  • Proven track record of developing business strategies from guests/business information, leading/consulting with cross-functional teams, and influencing decisions through the use of actionable insights.
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland without work permit sponsorhip
  • Master both quantitative and qualitative research techniques (adhoc and continuous tracking) to guide the organization, lead and implement a variety of studies: U&A, human motivations framework, segmentation, guest journey, concept/product testing, advertising/campaign research, brand development, Innovation pipeline, menu architecture design/pricing, Restaurant design testing. Must be able to lead simultaneous multiple research/analysis initiatives
  • Stronghold in Analytics: Naturally works with different and complex source of information (marketing & sales), connecting the dots, synthesizes the key brand and consumer insights and translate it into compelling business implications and effective actions to drive sales.
  • Ability to understand and tackle structured and unstructured problems coordinating all phases of research & analysis from briefing formulation to actionable conclusions/recommendations.
  • Comfortable with both large amounts of data, and qualitative insight, to design effective and efficient insight programs to address business questions
  • Transformational, inspirational leader and resilient, able to drive the culture of guest insights placing it in the center of all our strategies and actions.
  • Pragmatic and solution driven, full accountable and empowered to make things happen.
  • Very curious with a strong passion about understanding the "whys" that drive people decision.
