Scrona AG is transforming micro-fabrication. As the creator of the world's first 128-nozzle inklogic printhead and the only MEMS-based EHD multi-nozzle platform on the market, we are redefining what's possible in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. Our technology enables sub-micron printing of circuits, 3D structures, antennas, photonics, and micro-devices—on almost any surface. With a fully operational MEMS wafer fab, backend assembly line, and electronics manufacturing, we are scaling a platform capable of supplying up to 100,000 printheads per year to leading capital equipment OEMs.

Following rapid market adoption—pilots and integration projects with global leaders across consumer electronics, displays, semiconductor equipment, and beyond—Scrona is preparing for significant production ramp-up as we drive toward our Series A2 and a $5M+ initial pipeline of multi-year implementation projects.

To support this next phase, we are hiring our first VP Production.

Your Mission

Lead and scale Scrona's full production ecosystem—from MEMS wafer fabrication to backend assembly and electronics manufacturing—into a world-class, high-throughput, high-yield operation capable of supporting double-digit million annual revenues.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the manufacturing backbone of one of the most promising advanced packaging and micro-fabrication platform companies in the world.

What You Will Own

End-to-End Manufacturing Leadership

  • Full responsibility for MEMS wafer fab operations, backend manufacturing, assembly, and electronics production.
  • Build, optimize, and own production roadmaps, capacity models, and cost targets.

Operational Scale-Up

  • Drive the transition from engineering-focused production to repeatable, high-volume manufacturing.
  • Establish advanced automation, lean processes, and best-in-class quality systems.

Yield, Quality & Reliability

  • Implement robust yield management, data-driven root-cause analysis, and reliability frameworks across all stages.
  • Ensure our inklogic printhead platform meets the most demanding semiconductor and electronics OEM requirements.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with R&D, product engineering, and supply chain to industrialize next-generation printhead designs.
  • Build and lead a production organization that scales globally.

Strategic Manufacturing Ownership

  • Shape build-vs-buy decisions, outsourcing strategy, and future international production footprint.
  • Support customer qualification processes, audits, and long-term manufacturing agreements.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of leadership in semiconductor, MEMS, advanced packaging, or high-precision electronics manufacturing.
  • Proven track record scaling production from early pilot to high-volume supply.
  • Expertise in yield engineering, SPC/MES implementation, and quality systems.
  • Experience establishing and managing world-class production teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational drive.
