To strengthen our project management team in Switzerland we are looking for motivated and highly qualified consultants in the field of test management.

As a Test Manager, you take over the methodological leadership of a test team. You are in charge of various projects (also international), keep track of the project and are responsible for planning the test procedures, monitoring the tests and test results and writing test reports. You analyse requirements and check them for testability. In addition, you will monitor the continuous development of test automation and ensure that it can meet the future requirements of our customers.

Your tasks

As Test Manager you are responsible for quality assurance in diverse and challenging SAP S/4HANA projects and for defining the test strategy. Your tasks include the following topics:

  • Creation of test concepts, strategies and plans
  • Organization and management of the test teams and test projects
  • Test preparation including setup and operation of necessary test infrastructure and test automation
  • Appropriate preparation and communication of test results and test progress
  • Risk management - identifying risks and reducing them through testing
  • Anchoring quality awareness from the team to the organization
  • Development of specialist topics and knowledge transfer within Hentschel Consulting
What you should bring

You have completed a business or technical degree with above-average grades, have excellent English skills, entrepreneurial thinking and appreciate technical complexity.

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in test management
  • Certification in test management (at least ISTQB Test Manager)
  • You find the balance between empathy and assertiveness
  • You lead your team with great diplomatic skill
  • Tool knowledge such as Jira or HP/Microfocus ALM
  • Creative, communicative and customer-oriented personality
  • International experience is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, high commitment and willingness to travel
