Job Summary:
As an architect guiding a dedicated development team, you ensure that the architecture is conceived, formalized, reviewed, implemented and tested. You will manage the development of or embedded software. You are able to analyse our customer requirements and generate a suitable architecture for new features and to define the technical roadmap. You will optimize existing systems, generate architecture concepts and will be required to support analysis of issues in system test and in the field. Your development work will be carried out according to Scrum, the agile development framework used within the development department

Embedded System Architect

Your challenge:
Our systems contain elements from across multiple technical disciplines - in fact our systems combine so many areas that there is always a new challenge around the corner for motivated employees.
- As an architect guiding a dedicated development team, you ensure that the architecture is conceived, formalized, reviewed, implemented and tested
- You will manage the development of or embedded software
- You are able to analyse our customer requirements and generate a suitable architecture for new features and to define the technical roadmap
- You will optimize existing systems, generate architecture concepts and will be required to support analysis of issues in system test and in the field
- Your development work will be carried out according to Scrum, the agile development framework used within the development department

Our requirements:

- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or computer science with a strong experience (over 8 years) in software development (at least 3 years as an architect)
- You love technology and like to keep abreast of the new methods of development
- Furthermore, you have excellent knowledge in communication systems and their security aspects (local area networks, private and public mobile networks) and are experienced with software development for Linux (Yocto)
- With your fluent English and positive communication skills you will integrate quickly into the existing team
- You will be able to interact well with our international development sites. German skills would be considered an advantage
