Additional Job Description Location: Austin, Texas | Work Model: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)Job SummaryAs an Investment Operations Analyst at Texas PSF Corporation, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our investment teams. This position ensures the efficient processing and settlement of private and public investment deals by researching, compiling, analyzing, reconciling, and evaluating portfolio transactions, conducting research on portfolio capital changes, and preparing portfolio reports accurately and on time.We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional with 4+ years of full-time professional experience in investment operations, financial services, or a related field. In this role, you'll interact with outside service providers and custodians to validate transactions and valuation data on a daily and monthly basis for financial reporting, while supporting strategic projects and process reviews.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a dynamic, multi-asset investment platform.What You'll Do

Portfolio Operations & Transaction Support

  • Analyze assets, monitor transaction flow, and resolve investment data integrity issues for positions and valuations

  • Process cash flows for traditional and alternative investments, including co-investments and strategic partnerships

  • Execute daily functions across multiple applications and systems

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate internal investment records to verify portfolio activity

  • Validate and reconcile financial data with accuracy and timeliness on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Support reporting of daily and monthly transactions internally to portfolio managers and senior staff

Research & Analysis

  • Research and analyze investment financial data for internal portfolio managers and senior staff

  • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested

  • Work closely with external investment managers, legal counsel, finance team, and other stakeholders to address fund accounting and reporting matters

Process Improvement & Strategic Projects

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures for changes within the asset class

  • Support other alternative asset classes and end-of-year organizational and administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from an accredited college or university

Experience:

  • Experience in the investment industry, data analysis, or investment/fund accounting, including investment operations and controls, financial reporting, investment valuation principles, and reconciling investment performance data with periodic deadlines

  • Experience in the use of Order Management Systems (OMS) or alternative investment platforms

Preferred:

  • Experience with fund accounting for Separate Managed Accounts and alternative investments

  • Experience with co-investment structures and strategic partner relationships

  • Familiarity with data integrity and data feeds from and to diverse platforms

Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of various asset classes

  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills

  • Creative problem-solving abilities

  • Knowledge of financial databases and related software applications

  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and carried interest calculations

  • Ability to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure

Work Environment & Perks
