Job Summary:The Corporate Research Intern will support Texas PSF's Corporate Research Analyst in strategic, financial, and communications initiatives, focusing on high-quality deliverables for senior leadership, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders. This role combines research, analysis, and interpretation to ensure accuracy and clarity of materials presented at the highest levels of the organization. Responsibilities include conducting financial and market research, developing white papers on endowment and investment-related topics, and providing quality control across Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents. The intern may also assist with external communications on an ad hoc basis.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on financial, endowment, and investment-related topics to support corporate strategy and decision-making.
- Draft white papers, briefing notes, and benchmarking reports that distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Track industry trends, peer practices, and emerging issues relevant to endowment and institutional investment management.
- Review PowerPoint presentations and Word documents prepared for Board and executive leadership to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive reports, white papers, presentations, and visualizations for the Executive Committee.
- Collaborate with internal teams and industry peers to exchange knowledge and uncover best practices.
- Provide project management and organizational support across strategic initiatives.
- Take initiative to learn new skills and contribute across multiple functions as business needs evolve.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited institution.
- Must be an undergraduate rising junior or senior (May 2026 graduates are welcome).
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher while majoring in General Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related program.
- Experience through coursework, volunteer work, extracurricular activities, or internships that demonstrate problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to articulate ideas and information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, for effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with the ability to produce polished deliverables.
- Research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information.
- Knowledge of industry research methods.
- Familiarity with creating visually appealing and informative presentations using tools to convey key information to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Active listening skills to incorporate stakeholder feedback into presentations and visualizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information and maintain professionalism.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
