This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. Your role and responsibilities:

We're looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead the global expansion of our innovative visual AI solutions. In this role, you'll lead and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team of 3[MD1] , craft a winning sales strategy, drive significant revenue growth, and establish strategic partnerships. The preferred candidate is located in an EU Time Zone.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Create, plan, and implement sales mission, vision, strategy, budget, and efficiency targets for the assigned area.

  • Actively engage in business development and sales activities, build a solid lead pipeline with your team, and foster relationships globally with existing and future customers.

  • Develop strategic business plans, prioritize target markets, manage marketing activities and drive B2B customer contract negotiations.

  • Lead and inspire the Sales team by fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture rooted in a growth mindset.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Completed university degree, preferably in a technical field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Profound B2B sales experience in Internal Logistics, Warehousing, Automation or Robotics industries.

  • Good knowledge of material handling processes, tools and software is preferred.

  • Proven track record in successfully leading teams.

  • Analytical attitude with outstanding presentation and communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel approx. 20% - 30%.

  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).
