Role Description:

The IT Support (f/m/d) professional is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems. This role involves responding to user inquiries, resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT equipment, and maintaining network stability. Acting as the first point of contact for internal technical support, the IT Support specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining productivity and ensuring a seamless user experience across all departments.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical incidents, installing and configuring software and hardware, and supporting users both onsite and remotely. The IT Support specialist will assist in managing user accounts, ensuring data security, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with external vendors or higher-level IT teams for escalations. The role also involves monitoring system performance, applying updates or patches, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT service quality.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and solve technical problems efficiently. They should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment. The IT Support professional will play an essential role in ensuring operational reliability and supporting the organization's digital infrastructure and technological innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or vocational training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications (Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, etc.).
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and resolving software or connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines.
  • Continuous learning mindset with an interest in new technologies and IT trends.
