Senior Tax Manager (Corporate) – Switzerland

Our client, a well-established international tax advisory firm, is seeking a
Senior Tax Manager
to join their expanding team in
Zurich or Geneva
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with strong expertise in
US and cross-border corporate tax
to join a highly regarded boutique firm known for its technical excellence and collaborative culture.

Our client is a respected international tax advisory practice with a long-standing presence in Europe. They provide tailored tax compliance, advisory, and planning services to a diverse client base — including corporations, partnerships, funds, and trusts with exposure to the US tax system. The Role

The Senior Tax Manager will manage a varied client portfolio and play a key role in client service delivery, business development, and team leadership. The role involves:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of complex clients, including private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds, as well as multinational corporations with US connections.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives and firm-wide projects.
  • Identifying opportunities for advisory and consulting engagements.
  • Representing the firm in the marketplace through networking and professional activities.
  • Sharing technical expertise and supporting the professional growth of junior colleagues.

Key requirements:

  • 8–15 years of experience in corporate or partnership taxation, ideally with exposure to US tax matters (including international elements such as CFCs or PFICs).
  • Experience gained in a Big 4 or leading boutique advisory firm.
  • US CPA or EA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and major tax software (e.g., GoSystem, CCH Axcess, or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland (visa support may be available for qualified candidates).
