Your role

We are looking for a Compliance Officer for PB Switzerland in Zurich. Your responsibilities include:

  • conducting risk assessments in collaboration with the business and other compliance units regarding money laundering aspects as well as regulatory and reputational risks
  • preparing and submitting money laundering reports to the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland (MROS)
  • ensuring compliance with current legal and regulatory standards
  • participating in strategic compliance growth projects
  • developing strategies to improve work processes
  • supporting and advising client advisors and their line managers
  • participating in training sessions for employees on compliance topics

Your team

You will work in a motivated team of BAC Specialists in Zurich. Our team supports PB clients booked in German-speaking Switzerland.

Your expertise

For this demanding role, we are looking for someone with:

  • at least five years of experience in a compliance function or other practical experience in the field of financial crime or investigative experience in a law or audit firm, a banking supervisory authority, or a public prosecutor's office with a focus on money laundering
  • strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Master's degree in law, economics, or business administration with a focus on finance
  • excellent skills in summarizing facts and legal conclusions in the area of financial crime
  • analytical, precise, and structured, able to work well under pressure, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • capable of making decisions based on developed points and communicating conclusions appropriately to the audience
  • contributes positively to the team, supports colleagues, and strives to add value to the team
  • has user-level IT knowledge and learns quickly
