Your profile

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to lead quality control efforts in our controlled environment agricultural facility. It is an entry-level / junior role for a candidate who is interested in product inspection, laboratory testing oversight, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control activities including product inspections, sampling, and laboratory testing
  • Ensure all products meet internal specifications and regulatory requirements before release
  • Monitor and document production quality metrics and identify non-conformances
  • Coordinate with production and R&D teams to address quality issues
  • Maintain and oversee calibration, maintenance, and proper use of QC equipment
  • Review test results, batch records, and certificates of analysis to verify product quality
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives based on QC findings
Requirements
  • Strong interest to grow in the quality control field
  • Proactivity and ability to follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English; professional command of French and/or Spanish is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in quality control within a controlled environment agricultural facility, ideally cannabis production
  • Knowledge of product testing techniques, laboratory operations, and quality control standards
Work Conditions
  • Onsite work in Breitenbach, Solothurn Canton, Switzerland — accessible by train via Basel and nearby stations in Laufen and Zwingen
