Job Description:
Are you ready to join the high-pace, high-stakes world of financial markets? This graduate traineeship places you at the core of our organization, the operations team. You will gain hands-on expertise in the critical post-trade functions that underpin our success, with a specialized focus on the complex, evolving domain of structured products.

We are looking for a highly motivated graduate eager to learn, analyze, and drive efficiency in a dynamic regulatory environment.

What you will master

During your immersive traineeship, you will rotate through essential functions within the operations team, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle:

  • Trade Execution & Settlement: Master the end-to-end process of day-to-day transaction settlement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across global markets.
  • Corporate Actions Management: Actively participate in the analysis and execution of complex corporate actions, learning how mandatory and voluntary events impact our client holdings.
  • Risk Mitigation & Reconciliation: Conduct rigorous balance sheet and account reconciliations. You will develop core investigative skills, performing detailed root-cause analyses to resolve unexplained discrepancies swiftly and maintain data integrity.
  • Product Lifecycle Support: Deepen your knowledge of structured products by assisting in the review and seamless onboarding of new instruments, working closely with the front office and legal teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and streamlining existing workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk across the department.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Banking & Finance or similar
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Previous experience in financial services, including internships, would be a plus

Location:
Zurich, where it is possible to work off-site from time to time.
