Are you ready to lead global safety signal management for a world-class pharmaceutical organization? My client is seeking an experienced Associate Director to own and drive the Signal Management process, ensuring compliance, innovation, and excellence across a diverse product portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of external partners in identifying and analyzing safety signals for all products under global safety oversight.
  • Own the global process for signal detection, integrating local requirements and defining long-term strategy.
  • Oversee MedDRA queries and drive efficient workflow processes for the Safety Management Team.
  • Provide strategic leadership, ensuring practices align with regulatory guidance and industry standards.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, drive innovation, and ensure compliance in signal management.
  • Communicate new medical safety signals to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support development and customization of signal management tools, including integration of AI solutions.
  • Represent the organization in external working groups and lead audits as a subject matter expert.
  • Mentor, train, and onboard new team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's, PharmD, PhD, or Medical Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in pharmacovigilance operations, with hands-on signal detection and management.
  • Deep understanding of ICH GCP, GVP guidelines, and local PV regulations.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with PV audits, CAPA, and safety databases/software.
  • Knowledge of AI regulations in healthcare/pharmacovigilance is a plus.
