ABB Energy Industries (EN) drives growth for our customers while supporting safe, efficient and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, an extensive service footprint and capabilities, and innovative digital leadership. The Digital Product Management organization is accountable for the short and long-term business sustainability of the offerings in the EN Digital portfolio. This team develops and is accountable for successfully executing the vision and strategy for the offerings supported by EN Digital. As ABB EN continues its journey to be a digital product leader in energy, we’ve built a new market-relevant solution portfolio aligned to our key areas for growth. Many of these portfolio areas reflect new offerings and more importantly involve new customers, technologies and service models. The Digital Product Management organization provides the business leadership to grow these portfolio areas consistent with the growth targets for EN. As a Global Product Manager, you are the business leader responsible for long term profitable growth of your product portfolio given market needs and overall EN business strategy and targets. This role can be based remotely.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Living ABB’s core values of health, safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
- Building a collaborative environment by being the accountable product leader and working closely with Hub commercial and technical teams, Operations Management, R&D (Research and development) and Sales to develop and deliver profitable global solutions
- Building, maintaining and driving execution of business cases that include business models for profitable growth and new value streams given evolving customer
- needs.This includes market segmentation and targeting, business models and competitive advantages. Setting and maintaining pricing based on value pricing principles
- Building, maintaining and driving execution of customer journey maps that show current and desired customer journey and highlight key touchpoints where service design and/or software UI (User Interface)/UX (User experience) will increase customer value and create and maintain a competitive advantage
- Building go to market messaging including internal messaging document, segment specific offering content, sales/customer driven demos and thought leadership articles and presentations
- Building, maintaining and driving execution of product roadmaps that show the evolution of the offering to meet business growth targets.This includes evidenced based customer insights from sources like real world user data, customer feedback (example Voice of Customer research) and product-specific metrics (example usability, satisfaction and customer retention)
- Building, maintaining and driving business to business relationships that enable offering success.This may include internal organizations or external partners or vendors that provide support or critical technology components that enable business success
- Reporting on business success by continuous updates of sales, revenue and profitability relative to targets and enabling the use of the ABB CRM (example Salesforce) to automate reporting
- Managing and tracking paid customer pilots that may result from customer engagements or from the need to demonstrate an offering to a customer or country that enables that offering to scale to an enterprise or region, respectively

**Your background**:

- Bachelors degree in engineering or other technically relevant field and minimum of 10 years experience in product management or related disciplines with applied knowledge of software related business models for energy industry segments
- Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent product management advanced degree preferred. Relevant software related product management experience from an enterprise sized organization
- Familiarity with industrial digital technologies and services with the ability to integrate different offerings and technologies. Experience in internal or external consulting engagements
High ambition level, persistent and able to pivot quickly given new data; has a bias to action. Can build credibility quickly with our customers and internal stakeholders, hi “say do ratio”
