The Buyer will report to the Head of Purchasing and will be in charge of watch components (for novelties and runner products) and Indirect categories through 3 main missions : Purchasing Strategy, SRM and Team work.

**You will make an impact by**:

- Contribute to the Maison global purchasing strategy by defining and implementing sourcing strategies according to categories you will be responsible for
- Manage Request for Quotations : work with a TCO approach, lead negotiations and elaborate supplier allocation recommendations in collaboration with the key internal stakeholders
- Proactively work on proposals for Cost optimization, Cost savings, Cost avoidance
- Define et implement business securisation plans : analyse potential risks, implement BCPs and lead multi-sourcing projects
- Identify new sourcing opportunities to develop competitiveness & technological intelligence
- Understand supply chains and ensure the traceability of our products
- Ensure to provide sourcing solutions that fit the business needs and comply to PIAGET and Richemont CSR strategy and Compliance rules
- Monitor supplier performance (competitiveness, quality, service level, innovation, CSR etc.) in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
- Conduct Onboarding Meetings and Business Reviews with suppliers (performance review, capabilities, business growth strategy, technology and investments roadmap etc.)
- Proactively engage with suppliers and our manufacturing teams to build and develop reliable partnerships
- Constantly listen to suppliers market and analyse : business signals, global industry issues, suppliers capabilities, new technologies, innovative solutions etc.
- Ensure effective collaboration and synergies with the other departments of the Maison, as well as the Group
- Be part of the novelties project teams and provide the purchasing support by making sure to be in line with the global purchasing strategy
- Lead transverse projects

**The exceptional skills we are looking for**:

- You possess a Master’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- You have 3 - 5 years ‘experience in a similar position
- You have a clear understanding of strategic sourcing and purchasing methodologies
- You have a good understanding of watchmaking and jewelry suppliers’ challenges (economic, know-how, logistics )
- You have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as strong negotiation and analytical & synthetization skills
- You have a problem solving and results-oriented mindset
- You are proficient in English and French
