**Position Summary**:
The Senior Director Engineering & Maintenance, Large Molecule Platform will own the development and deployment of a Global Engineering, Maintenance and Execution (automation) Systems strategy for all sites in the Large Molecule (LM) Platform, aligned with Janssen Supply Chain and Johnson & Johnson Enterprise. The LM Platform currently consists of 7 sites located globally and involved in biologic drug substance and drug product manufacturing. This role has oversight for Engineering, Automation & Maintenance staff at all the LM Platform manufacturing sites.

Provides strategic and technical leadership from engineering and automation systems project delivery and process/systems engineering, through design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and maintenance and operations support resulting in operational solutions to business needs. Drive end to end standardization throughout platform and ensure common approaches and solutions are adopted in all sites within platform.
- Lead the development of lifecycle engineering standards (design, construction, commissioning and qualification and operation and maintenance) for the LM platform.
- Ensure that the ISA-95 level 1 and 2 automation systems and associated operation are in compliance and fit for intended use in accordance with applicable standards and procedures throughout the systems lifecycle.
- Handle Day-to-day operations of ISA-95 level 1 and 2 systems, ensuring system availability as per business requirements, as well as leading the platform roadmap execution.
- Oversee Project Planning and Execution for the majority of capital projects in the LM platform manufacturing sites.
- Support the MTO Engineering Lead for major capital and process projects.
- Responsible for cost, reliability, and compliance for the manufacturing assets across the platform.
- Lead all aspects of alignment to standard methodologies and processes as implemented across the Janssen Supply Chain (FPX, Faster Forward, C&Q, knowledge management, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the LM Platform Leader in support of business needs, in addition to working with MSAT, Facilities and cross sector leaders in support of process and technology needs.
- Ensures integration of both execution systems (content, execution, visualization) and asset information system (AIM) requirements.
- Drive development and movement of talent across the MTO Platforms and across Janssen Supply Chain and J&J Supply Chain.
- Serve as a full member of the LM Platform Leadership Team and participate, drive, own, shape, and lead the platform strategy and Goals and Objectives together with the other LT members.
- Shared responsibility for strong communication with Make Asset Management CoE, ensuring consistent and effective cross platform programs and activities.
- Build positive relationships with Source/Plan/Make/Deliver/Quality
- This individual will serve as a JSC representative on major industry forums.

**Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelors Degree, Engineering/Science or relevant field of study
- Years of Experience: 15+, including 10+ years of People leadership
- Ability to build a future vision and gaining support and alignment to that vision
- Functional knowledge of/and experience in engineering, automation and maintenance of equipment and systems within Pharmaceuticals (Biologics) manufacture or other healthcare regulated sectors.
- Previous experience in working within a support organization with a knowledge of functional and matrix areas.
