Hobson Prior are seeking a Category Buyer Process Equipment to join a fantastic pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on facilitating a healthier world.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this role, you will guide supplier relationship management and provider development actions to guarantee viable supply and maximise the full value of supplier relationships.
- Handle relationships with providers serving as the main point of contact for designated suppliers.
- Collaborate with project procurement associates to assure category methods are translated into project implementation plans.
- Document savings and uphold the project savings pipeline monthly.
- You will plan, direct and implement deliberations of commercial terms and contracting for framework, master and any other major supply agreements.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Key Skills**:

- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Able to think analytically with the ability to resolve issues.
- Works well in a team.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in procurement, engineering, business or law field.
- Familiarity with capex procurement and large capex projects such as up to CHF 50m+.
- Acquaintance with contract management with the ability to craft commercial contracts and agreements.
- Know-how of at least 1 of the following: Fill & Finish technology, Bioreactors, Chromatography or Laboratory Equipment market in pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.
- Comprehension of pharmaceutical production procedures, or bio-pharmaceutical process equipment would be advantageous.
- Prior involvement working with or for an EPCM contractor would be advantageous.
- CIPS or similar procurement and supply chain certifications would be ideal.
- Business insight with tactical procurement knowledge.
- Project and procurement management capabilities.
