We offer an integrated and automated software platform, AxSTREAM®, which enables turbomachinery design, redesign, analysis, and optimization. This includes 3D design, thermodynamic cycles, rotor dynamics, and simulations of secondary flow and cooling systems. We also provide cutting-edge engineering services.

As part of our extended turbomachinery engineering team, our Engineering Services division is dedicated to developing and designing highly efficient new machines or upgrading existing ones such as axial and radial turbines, compressors, and pumps, serving various industries.

**Responsibilities: 30% technical and 70% management**:

- Own all aspects of engineering project execution, covering managerial, technical, and leadership steps. Take responsibility for manpower, budget, schedule, and technical accuracy.
- Work with the sales team to interface with customers, define and document design requirements, establish the overall project schedule, address technical concerns, and provide project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and deliverables by collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers in Engineering Services, enabling timely project development and successful deliveries for our customers.
- Lead and coordinate engineering meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing design progress and engineering analysis to ensure projects meet all design requirements and technical specifications.
- Interface with customers and keep the team and management informed of project progress.
- Collaborate with SoftInWay’s software development team to improve and enhance turbomachinery design tools from system, subsystem, component levels, and material points of view.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge/familiarity of mechanical design, including material properties, statics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, lifing methods related to Low and High Cycle Fatigue (LCF & HCF), and creep.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be capable of making technical and project-related presentations internally and to customers.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience, Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in product development, coupled with strong project management/leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on maintaining and improving the design process.
- Proven track record of managing and leading engineering staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language (German is a plus) and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to drive change, manage conflict, and achieve results.
