Company: Li-Cycle Europe AG Location: Zug, Switzerland Job Summary: Reporting to Chief Technology Officer, the Project Manager, Site Construction will be responsible for all aspects of the construction and delivery of Li-Cycle’s Spokes, including project management, quality assurance/quality control, supply chain management, and management of external contractors. Primary Responsibilities: - Working with our Engineering and Construction Management team, you will support: - Management of spoke construction and external contractors for the purpose of building Li-Cycle’s Commercial Facilities - Oversee the work performance of external service providers ensuring the work completed meets company standards - Review of technical documentation (drawings and specifications) to ensure that QA/QC checks are performed on fabricated components and documented in adherence to set policies - Selection of site-level construction contractors through an RFP process - Oversight of construction activities including budget, productivity, progress, and safety of employees and subcontractors - Manage the inventory of materials to always ensure adequate stock levels - Attend construction site meetings and conduct site visits, as needed **Requirements**: - University degree or diploma in a technical field - 5+ years previous experience in a manufacturing environment with proven leadership abilities. - Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles. - Ability to converse and collaborate with multiple departments spanning multiple disciplines - High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite - Strong work ethic and positive team attitude - Ability to independently manage multiple activities at different locations and organize work to meet deadlines - Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills - Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines - German language at minimum B2 level **Core Competencies**: - A hands-on contributor with a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment - Consistently delivers quality work on time, with a strong attention to detail - Positive attitude with a focus on continuous learning - Strong oral communication, technical writing and editing skills - Proactive and self-starter with an "owner's mindset" - Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills About Li-Cycle: For more information, you can view Li-Cycle's corporate video here: Li-Cycle is an equal opportunity employer committed to Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging.
