The Lead for Digital Medicine Analytics in Digital Biomarkers Research & Development (DBRD) will enable precision and personalized medicine by defining and leading the evidence-generation strategies for digital assessments and biomarkers across multiple therapeutic areas. As the Lead for Digital Medicine Analytics in the DBRD team, you will: - Provide strategic leadership in evidence-generation planning and execution for digital outcome measures, including study design, protocol development, statistical analysis plans, data analysis and reporting, as well as key contributions to the planning and delivery of regulatory strategies and submissions. - Lead key statistical innovations for digital outcome measures and other challenges to the company's products or processes and represent the biostatisticians of the company in internal and external meetings. - Lead the analyses and the communication of results, including at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications for audiences in the therapeutic area of interest, biostatistics, machine learning and digital medicine. This role is of key importance to achieve the strategic vision and objective to make Biogen a recognized leader in digital health neuroscience, hence contributing to our corporate vision & strategy - this role will report to the Head of Digital Biomarkers Research & Development. **Qualifications**: - PhD in biostatistics/statistics or equivalent - >= 6 years of relevant work experience. - Broad and thorough understanding of statistical principles and clinical trial methodology related to digital health technology development; able to practice and implement them. - Solid knowledge of medical/biological terminology and clinical trial designs in relevant therapeutic areas. - Demonstrated ability to develop innovative/creative statistical/technical solutions to complex problems in the field of digital outcomes. - Knowledge and experience in meeting regulatory guidelines, both FDA and international regulatory agencies, ideally in the context of digital health. - Solid track record of scientific publications in the field of advanced statistical analysis. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Leadership skills in proactive strategy setting, priority evaluations, adapting to changes, conflict resolutions, and effective partnership.
