**About the role**

As Global Medical Lead Digital Health Solutions you will be responsible for Global Medical Affairs activities within the Biogen Digital Health Solutions Team, including the development and implementation of the medical strategy and tactics for BDH Solutions to advance precision and personalized medicine. You will work closely with BDH cross-functional partners and Worldwide Medical Leads (Global, Regional and Local) to execute strategic priorities in data generation, medical education, medical expert engagements, and clinical insights.

With a deep understanding of Digital Health, and extensive Medical Affairs experience in Neurology, you must demonstrate agility to navigate the complexity of our business, in order to identify unmet medical needs within the external landscape and to find solutions in line with the Solutions Playbook across discovery, concept, development, validation and launch.

In this role it is of key importance to achieve the strategic vision and objective to make Biogen a recognized leader in digital health solutions, hence contributing to our corporate vision & strategy - you will report to the BDH Solutions Head of Medical Affairs.

**What you'll do**

**Scientific and medical leadership throughout the development of Solutions with internal and external stakeholders**
- Operate as a strong leader to demonstrate how medical can add value for cross-functional colleagues and leaders
- Provide scientific and clinical leadership for external Digital Health partnerships and investments and take a leadership role in innovation discovery assessment
- Partner with internal colleagues as a medical and digital health expert throughout product development including the discovery, design, validation and launch phases
- Develop strong external partnerships with leading KMEs, DOLs, HCPs, PAGs and Payers, in close alignment with BDH and Worldwide Medical colleagues
- Provide and obtain clinical insights to identify and prioritize unmet medical needs aligned to Biogen core strategies through scientific engagement and global medical advisory boards
- Educate the BDH Solutions Team with strong scientific and medical knowledge in Neurology and clinical care pathways

**Develop and execute the medical strategy and launch plan across BDH Solutions**
- Create a medical education plan, executes global activities and supports affiliate initiatives to support the launch and clinical integration of Solutions
- Identify RWE opportunities using BDH Solutions to address data gaps relevant to Biogen core
- Collaborate with Regulatory on developing and executing post-launch data generation plans for each Solution to meet Digital Medicine / Digital Health platforms requirements
- Manage a publication plan and supports all relevant publication materials, medical communication materials, medical information letters and internal/external medical materials, in partnership with BDH communication colleagues

**Optimize the positive impact of BDH Solutions across the globe**
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with Global, Regional and Affiliate medical leadership
- Centrally develop and provide resources, materials and tools for regions & countries in partnership with BDH communication colleagues
- Support effective Solutions launches across the regions through go-to-market launch planning in collaboration with BDH Operations Team
- Support reimbursement and market access efforts as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with colleagues (e.g. Legal, Compliance) and partner to solve challenges that will be faced in an innovative and rapidly evolving landscape
