**Job Purpose/Overview**
Market Finance BP advises and supports the business in areas related to future state financial performance including: -Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial results and measures in the context of business operations) -Providing forward looking financial insight on market conditions, competitors, and alternative business scenarios -Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision making and performance. Scope of role can be one or several markets depending on the size and complexity within countries.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation of deliverables to support the financial reporting needs including analytic commentary of quarterly financial results of the markets (with focus on GSV-to-MMAC (i.e. trade spend, mix), including the preparation of reporting pack for Management team
- Supporting the unit’s financial shaping and forecasting processes. Be able to drive business insights and identify gaps in financial performance, prepare and present plans for corrective action. Provide financial analysis, insights and decision making support to market, to make the right business decisions
- Participation on 3 years financial outlook, business plan and customer strategy - providing scenario planning together with financial modelling with focus on long term value creation plan
- A member to S&OP+ process. Active participation to step 2 in dedicated markets (Demand management review) and actively contribute to step 4 (Financial reconciliation)
- Support the sales team in customer contract negotiations (provide various scenarios with impact on the financial performance), while driving the ROI and P4P mindset
**Context and Scope**
- Provides dual roles of Financial Custodian and Co-Pilot for the business. As Custodian, Market Finance BP plays a critical role to create and maintain a controlled environment for the business to help maintain its financial integrity. As Co-Pilot, Market Finance BP plays an active role in helping set the strategic direction of the business as well as providing decision-making support to deliver financial commitments and improve overall business performance.
- Provides the management of systems and processes to produce high quality financial information and to derive critical insights. With these insights, gain alignment of the business unit's financial shape and targets with business/client stakeholders. Partner with the business to deliver the financial performance of the business by driving robust decisions.
