Ledgy’s $10m Series A round in September ’21 marked the entry of renowned Silicon Valley investor Sequoia Capital into the Swiss startup ecosystem—almost 50 years after its founding.

Our goal at Ledgy is to use this freshly acquired confidence (and capital) to build one of the greatest teams in Europe and boldly go to where no company has gone before ‍

We are an international and diverse team of 33 people, 50% women, coming from 22 different countries and speaking 20 different languages.

As Product Designer at Ledgy, your mission is to take ownership of our user experience and make sure that users are delighted. We see product design as a fundamental part of the product team, working alongside the product management as peers. While product managers are responsible for finding out what creates value for our users, the responsibility of our product designers is the usability of the product.

At Ledgy, you will
- Think holistically about the architecture and systems that make Ledgy work to distill the our complex problem space down into simple design solutions
- Immerse yourself in company strategy and exchange ideas with our passionate team of engineers, data analysts, and customer experience people to understand our biggest growth opportunities
- Talk to or observe users often to understand their needs and to test new features during development and after the release
- Align with product managers and engineering leads on tradeoffs between value, usability, and feasibility
- Develop our component library in Figma to design and ship high-quality features and workflows
- Keep our visual brand consistent and strong across all channels
- Build the design team and processes, helping to hire additional designers

The job is a good fit if you
- Are able to adapt in a constantly changing environment, possibly even worked in a startup before
- Don’t hesitate to champion a good idea until it turns into something that works
- Have empathy and curiosity about how people think and feel, so you can put yourself into the shoes of users
- Experience physical pain when a visual detail is off, the typography is not consistent, or the colors don’t match
