Development Intern in Optical Microscopy

We are looking for a motivated and independent intern to join our engineering team in the development of an optical microscope for semiconductor wafer inspection. The intern will be part of the Development Team and will mainly perform experimental work in the optics laboratory. The duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months.

TASKS
- Testing and characterization of new light sources as well as new camera systems
- Optimization of the light path and improvement of the overall detection efficiency
- Design and implementation of new concepts on our existing optical setup

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Currently in BSc or in MSc in Engineering or Physics
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python)
- Independent working and ability to communicate effectively
- Willing to learn new skills and tools
