Business Development Intern

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to be based in our Küsnacht office in Zürich, Switzerland.
Duration: At least 6 months, starting as soon as possible
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with our Business Development Director to plan, execute, and manage strategic initiatives spanning sales, IT, operations, finance, and more. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our Strategy 2030 mission.
Main responsibilities:
Assist the Business Development Director in managing and executing assigned projects.
Conduct research and analyse data to support business decisions.
Develop business cases and implementation concepts.
Conceptualise and build digital tools.
Analyse and improve workflows.
Respond to requests for proposals.
Manage collaborations and partnerships.
Support seminar and event preparations.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Critical and creative thinking skills to identify and solve business challenges.
Proficiency in prompting, AI tools and Microsoft 365.
Programming skills and familiarity with automation tools and CRM software are a plus.
Ability to analyse data and trends.
Proficiency in German and English.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work and communicate in a culturally diverse environment.
Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Business Information Technology, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field). A technical background is advantageous.
