In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of all facilities projects for their designated site. The chief goal in supporting this mission is to deliver high quality services ensuring continuous improvement, added value, increased productivity, and cost efficiencies. This position will work in close collaboration with the site Sr. Facilities Manager and network of EMEA Project Managers to ensure consistency of deployment across the sites while supporting diverse business needs. The position will also collaborate with EHS teams ensuring the sustainability and health & safety principles necessary to meet and exceed the company EHS targets and goals are met. Develop and manage site CapEx projects ensuring alignment with local and regional strategic plans, this will include site maintenance, break fix and growth activities. Monitor and control project budgets to ensure controlled and consistent capital spend with reliable cashflow forecast.

**Manage Project Requirements**:
- _ Assisting Departments with the Formation of Briefs: _Chair meetings as and when necessary, in order to obtain the relevant information on when to formulate plans for new projects. Dependent on the size and cost implication of the project, the post holder may run these meetings on his/her own.
- _ Arranging Feasibility Studies and Options: i_n order to meet the company’s growth potential, the Facilities Department is required to visualize future areas of growth and design possible solutions to problems. This requires the individual to be able to exercise their talent for finding answers to problems.
**Lead the Capital Investment Programme**
- _ Preparation of Budget Costs: _To review systematically a possible project into its constituent parts and formulate costs for both labor and material. This will require a degree of knowledge about the mechanical and electrical services processes involved.
- _ Securing Approvals from External Authorities: _As and when necessary, to liaise with external organizations in order that the correct documentation is prepared and submitted to obtain approval for specific requirements.
**Drive the Procurement Process**
- _ Preparation of Sketches, Working Drawings: _The post holder will be able to undertake drawing office work to an acceptable standard on their own initiative, to such a level that contractors can transfer the information contained in the drawing to produce a finished item.
- _ Writing of Specifications/Schedules of Works: _The post holder should be able to convey the requirements shown on a drawing into a list of tasks that a contractor is required to undertake to produce the finished item. In doing so, the individual should use their own knowledge to support this requirement with detail specifications outlining all the materials to be used.
- _ Preparation of Contract Procedures/Documentation: _To be responsible as an individual or as a member of a team for the compiling of the necessary documentation, laying out the terms and conditions on which projects will be offered to contractors.
- _ Evaluating Tenders/Quotations: _As and when competitive tendering may be used, tender analysis documentation will be carried out identifying the various estimates of work and comparing one contractor with another. The post holder will judge the benefits on offer and advise the Facilities manager accordingly.
**Oversee Project Works**
- _ Supervision of Works: _During the course of construction of any works, the post holder will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the works, to ensure compliance with the specification, tender documents and quality of workmanship.
- _ Arranging and/or Attending Site Meetings: _As and when instructed, the post holder will arrange the formal setting up of site meetings to monitor the progress of works being undertaken. At these meetings, notes will be made in the form of Minutes identifying the current state of the project, additional information required and cost statement.
- _ Maintaining Project Cost Summaries: _The post holder will have financial control of any project assigned to them. They have the authority to authorise payment for work carried out. They will be required to ensure the costs do not exceed budgets previously agreed.
- _ Maintaining Site Records: _An important part of this post is to maintain site records in relation to building services, drawings, manuals and other relative information. This will require a degree of self-motivation to go out and systematically survey the existing site and
