Business Development Intern

Urban Connect is a multimodal integrated mobility platform for companies and communities, enabling shared, carbon-neutral mobility. The platform offers companies an ecosystem of low-emission, shared vehicles - everything from e-bikes to e-scooters and e-cargo bikes to e-cars - with everything bookable via one app. In addition, the platform enables the simple integration of mobility budget for employees, and existing vehicle fleets, including the measurement and management of their utilization. It is in this context that we help companies map an optimal, sustainable, cost-effective mobility mix for their employees.
Tasks
- Work directly with the Chief Commercial Officer and collaborate with other team members - founders, commercial / product / operations departments, Chief of Staff
- Help drive a comprehensive go-to-market effort (strategy, IT, legal, operations, marketing, etc.) to ensure a big-impact expansion of the service
- Prepare sales decks, client review presentations, and other commercial or ad-hoc presentations
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution, assist in the creation of content for various marketing channels, and engage with our users to promote the use of low-emission mobility
- Conduct market research on relevant topics, present insights to the team, and carry-out market and competitor analyses
- Help standardize and automate processes to scale up and expand the brand in Switzerland and beyond
- Assist with some other daily administrative and project duties
**Requirements**:
- You are in the final year or hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications and Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- An entrepreneur at heart - fully passionate about getting things off the ground - some startup/entrepreneurial experience would be extremely valuable
- Think logically, be willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem-solving
- Hands-on/can-do mentality - you get as excited rolling up your sleeves to get any things done as you are when working on high-level strategic topics
- A team player - we work together as a team, challenge and build on each other’s ideas and work alongside to achieve our vision
- Ability to drive results and operate effectively, demonstrating sound skill in dealing with ambiguity
- Flexible and able to work on several projects simultaneously and switch priorities on a short notice basis
- Advanced skills and proficiency in various MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Sense of responsibility, ownership, and genuine interest
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English (must have)
