**Your role**
- Do you want to architect the next generation of Cybersecurity technical controls?
- Your goal is to find new and innovative technical architecture solutions to protect assets, data and people. You want to join a highly motivated team that analyzes, designs, and delivers solutions that stop threat actors in their tracks while ensuring critical business operations. Be a thought leader and provide advice on best practices to support your team and all business and technology functions across the firm.
- You will:
- own the end-to-end solution; Is the key decision-maker for and drives the overall solution
- create solutions that resonate with and align with senior management priorities
- design a highly automated, easy-to-use DevSecOps pipeline to meet the necessary compliance requirements
- make sure that build chain is safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- actively engage engineers and operations across the firm to seek out issues and areas for improvements in deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to the build chain
- provide support to develop & improve the quality of technical engineering documentation
- make decisions of a global, strategic nature by analyzing complex data systems and incorporating knowledge of other lines of business and UBS policy
- build advanced understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
- ensure all SDLC activities are in conformant with UBS policy
- perform the development of technical architecture roadmap & documentation
- perform proof of concept research and development in line with emerging industry trends
- capture product design, development, and transition to operations
- perform technical architecture advisory consultation to product management/teams
- provide technical interface between development and operations teams

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the Cyber Information & Security (CIS) group of UBS, playing an important role in protecting the firm from cyber-attacks and advanced threat actors targeting large financial institutions. You’ll use your communication and analytical skills to drive change while aligned to a team of fellow Cybersecurity architects.

**Your expertise**
- strong track record of successfully architecting and deploying cloud solutions.
- ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- software engineering experience to include implementation of highly elastic systems, deployment, software configuration, design
- ability to develop value/client-centric solutions in response to client needs and market trends
- thought leader with proven track record in leading transformational projects will be a plus
- experience with Cybersecurity in a mission critical environment
- industry experience in a regulated environment in public cloud and experience with on-premise migration to cloud-native public cloud solutions
- deep understanding of core concepts for Public/Private/Hybrid clouds (networking, policy placement, data privacy, AM, etc.)
- industry experience in a regulated environment with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OCI
- expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities
- ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an engineering and innovation culture
- ability to manage competing priorities and delivery iteratively
- excellent English communication skills
