Description
**Who are we looking for?**
A new and exciting opportunity to join our growing Business Development team. We are looking for an experienced **Business Development Director,** with a focus on **increasing revenue with existing clients and adding new clients** using our product ranges; Carne Man Co, Carne Select, and Carne Unite.
**Location**: This role will be based in Zurich
**What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?**
**What is the role and your responsibilities?**
- Work towards pre-agreed revenue targets within your clients
- Understand client challenges, identify clients “Next Best Investment” in Carne product range and deliver new solutions to meet their requirements
- Assist with annual sales plan
- Participate in and lead sales pitches
- Assist with other Jurisdiction pitches (where required)
- Represent Carne at conferences / seminars etc.
- Identify and resolve contract and proposal issues, risk areas, and implications of emerging contractual issues.
- Document all lead generation and sales activities within SalesForce, ensuring that the sales pipeline can be tracked, and information can be leveraged across the Group.
- Develop a repository of Market Intelligence on business opportunities and competitors. If we are not providing a service to a client understand “Why not” and “Who is”?
**What competencies do you require?**
- Have a proven ability to establish and develop excellent relationships with clients and referral sources
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and an aptitude for presenting complex ideas and key messages effectively
- Language skills a plus and fluency in English a requirement
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry and associated strategic partners / service providers
- Exhibit high attention to detail, solid analytical skills, and excellent project management skills.
- Be a team player who is flexible, has a positive outlook, and is easy to work with
- Have a track record of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering on time and within the prescribed parameters
- Have an entrepreneurial mind set with an interest in working within a dynamic environment marked by significant growth and change
- Be driven, self-motivated and focused on achieving results
