Head of Global Sourcing

Swarovski embarked on the Transformation of our Crystal Business two years ago and has come a long way. To continue this journey and continuously evolve our business for the future, we are looking for a Head of Global Sourcing. This position offers you the opportunity to play an integral role in repositioning and shaping the future of a family-owned and world-renowned luxury group of 20’000 employees operating in 160 countries globally.

Core Responsibilities- Develop, implement and deliver a global sourcing strategy and activities to support the agreed business objectives for direct products (i.e. jewelry, watches, accessories, home décor, product components, product packaging and other production materials)- Secure product cost and quality efficiency as well as define and execute the strategic buying process- Identify, qualify, contract and manage external Suppliers for direct products in line with the given budget- Drive the implementation of a multiple Sourcing network in order to ensure the respective flexibility, optimal lead-times and accelerated time-to-market- Improve the performance of external suppliers, develop effective and efficient production processes, increase flexibility and agility to react to changing demand, and reduce lead-times and cost of the suppliers' operation- Proactively identify opportunities & risks in our external manufacturing supply base to maximize potential and minimize exposure related to Swarovski product portfolio- Advance environmental, health and safety standards in Swarovski external Manufacturing Network and ensure full compliance with all legal, social and political requirements- Ensure that the supply base meets our governance and sustainability of the suppliers' companies- Build a systematic talent pipeline and develop talent to support continuous business growth

You are:
- An experienced sourcing leader ideally within retail, fashion or beauty industry with a strong drive to continuous improvement on supplier performance- An excellent people leader with the ability to use direct and indirect influencing strategies with all levels of the organization- Ability to identify functions that are impacted by or involved in your objectives and therefore key to achieving a successful outcome- Highly organized and able to keep on top of a large volume of communication from numerous stakeholders
