**About the role**

The position will be part of the global Solution and Service Business team managing and supporting our assigned regions and focus countries in their business success.

As Digital Building Solutions Development Manager you will be responsible for making our customer’s outcomes a reality via technology - by implementing the use cases on top of our digital ecosystem within our building technologies environment. You will coordinate the tasks together with colleagues from other units and you will be supported by a talented team of distributed developers to ensure a smooth implementation of our digital solutions.

**Your new responsibilities**
- Define, implement, and revise the development process orchestrating the exchange between portfolio managers, product owners and the development team
- Manage the day-to-day activities of a distributed development team, including budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure all the related resources and tools for the development team are budgeted and provided
- Support high level customer interactions from a technical standpoint
- Interact with other units, and development teams defining areas of collaboration and co-creation
- Manage a community of stakeholders out of the matrix organization (regions, countries, other central functions) to secure the successful portfolio development
- Act as a quality gate for the development to ensure a high-quality delivery with all related documentation and technical trainings
- Support the implementation of demo and test environments

**What you bring along**
- Master’s degree in computer science or engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in R&D related to software product development, steering distributed development teams
- Experience in the building or IoT industry is a strong advantage
- Experienced in agile methodologies implementation and steering, with solution minded mindset
- Good understanding and experience of Enterprise IT / Cloud architecture
- Strong communication and interpersonal/intercultural skills as well as a proactive and positive attitude
- The position requires excellent English language skills. German or any other European language is an advantage

Please mind that a work eligibility for Switzerland is a prerequisite, as we have to adhere to Swiss Migration laws.
