It is built on Siemens’ Xcelerator design principles, supporting users in their digital journey, helping them to make intelligent decisions about their buildings and connecting the real world with the digital world. **What part will you play?** As Strategy Manager Building X, you shape and implement a coherent SI Building X strategy, incl. M&A, and help derive business decisions based on it. In concrete terms, you will: - Develop and drive strategic initiatives together with teams to support senior management decision-making - Identify and evaluate potential M&A targets and partnering opportunities - Lead due diligence as well as post-merger integration processes and teams on M&A targets to provide clear recommendations - Communicate outcomes in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to senior management - in written and oral formats - Negotiate M&A and partnering deals with internal and external collaborators - Conduct market and competitor research and analysis to identify potential growth opportunities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic, M&A, and partnering initiatives **What you need to make real what matters** Strong ability to structure and solve sophisticated problems and lead projects independently, combined with: - Master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, electrical/mechanical/industrial engineering, or similar - Several years of experience in the areas of strategy (consulting) and/or M&A, ideally with significant project management exposure - You proactively strive to get things done and get to the ‘so-what’ of your analyses - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent teammate with good collaboration capabilities and intercultural competence - Experience in M&A, incl. financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation, as well as negotiating complex M&A deals and maintaining relationships with external partners - Experience in building space and/or software/digitalization (XaaS) is a plus - Proficient English language skills and strong communication capabilities (written and oral) on a senior management level complete your profile **Who and where we are**: **Your Application**:
