This position is placed center-stage in Kistler Group’s global digital solutions ambitions. You will lead the ramp up as well as the strategic development of the Digital Solutions business unit by developing the offerings, the key markets, and the team, and by selling cutting edge software and customer specific software solutions within the automotive and manufacturing industry.

**Head of Business Unit Digital Solutions (M/F/d)**

**Your main tasks**:

- Shape the performance of the Business Unit and lead the team, including all people management and financial as well planning aspects
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Business Unit’s growth strategy
- Drive worldwide active market development and optimize the sales process to represent the business unit towards partners and customers understanding their todays and emerging needs
- Implement customer relationship management for defined key customers and build relationships with and caring for important customers
- Lead strategic and innovative projects to achieve sustainable growth
- Close collaboration with other business units to define best joint impact on Kistler overall and capture data-driven business opportunities

**Your profile**
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in managing and/or developing software or related business, ideally with a consulting background, working with customers on developing end to end solutions including digitalization
- Track record to drive business growth through providing innovative technology solutions and go to market successes
- Good understanding of market development and trends to identify areas where product gaps need to be closed
- Excellent people management skills with proven ability to motivate teams to achieve ambitious goal
- Strong communication skills as well as listening skills to drive collaboration and establish good working relationships across all touchpoints
- Proven analytical ability, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to travel between 20-40 % internationally
