**Head of Global Data Management 80-100%**:
**What you will do**

In this challenging and important role, you will lead and manage our activities to ensure high master data quality over the entire data life cycle within SAP R/3. This involves shaping the global team as well as setting the strategy, policies and standards in collaboration with IT and users across Tecan.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Lead of the local material master data management team in Switzerland and across locations
- Creating and implementing policies for effective data management
- Setting up effective governance standards and a KPI framework to monitor data quality
- Defining and training SAP R/3 standards and usage by developing instructions and distributing knowledge
- Hands-on data analysis and maintenance activities, process mass data changes, and data distribution across the organization
- Supporting users in Operations and Sales to improve processes and efficiency
- Contributing in projects for digitalization, integration and process improvement

**What you bring along**
- Certified computer scientist FH/HF or equivalent education
- Expert know-how, experience and competence in data management
- Expert knowledge in SAP R/3 MM module, particularly Material Master and Procurement creation of Queries (SQ02/SQ01), GuiXT
- Excellent MS Excel skills including creation of complex functions and VBA modules
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to high data quality
- Potential in leading a global team
- Flexibility and agility to work in a matrix organization
- Proven Project Management experience combined with excellent communication skills
- Solid teaching and technical writing skills
- Fluent in German and English
- Conceptual thinker - strategic as well as pragmatic
- Willing to take responsibility
