Limiting global warming to 1.5°C implies reaching net zero CO2 emissions in 2050 according to the IPCC. Next to substantially reducing emissions, this target will only be possible by globally deploying carbon removal (CDR) solutions at the scale of billions of tons of CO2.
Neustark is a leading provider in this rapidly growing field, having developed a solution to permanently store CO2 from the air in recycled mineral waste such as demolished concrete. Founded in 2019 in Switzerland, our first solutions have been deployed in Switzerland and Europe and are already capturing and storing tons of CO2 every week. We are currently scaling up our operations and carbon removal impact globally - on the road to removing one million tons of CO2 in 2030, and beyond that.
We’re a team of 50 people based mainly in Switzerland, working internationally, and with international offices very soon. Together, we enable permanent CO2 storage for a bright future of all generations on our planet.

**What your future team does**:
In our business development team, we are responsible for laying the foundations for neustark's ambitious growth plans. We develop new geographic markets and bring new products to market. We monitor and shape the political landscape and work closely with our sales, research and communications teams to strategically develop the carbon removal market and neustark as a key player in it.
**What your job could look like**:
We are growing quickly at neustark, expanding in new markets and entering collaborations with various partners in the construction and recycling as well as sustainability and carbon removal fields. And that’s where we need you: to help us research new contacts and to fill our pipeline for our different target groups. This internship is at an interface between our sales and marketing teams, giving you unique insights into all the stages of a company’s sales funnel.
- You are our firm’s research guru Working closely with our storage sales team, you research potential partners in the construction recycling field, predominantly in the DACH region.
- Working equally closely with the CDR sales team, you identify international companies that are potential, mature sustainability partners by researching their climate strategies, actions taken as well as key contacts.
- You help populate our sales funnel in our CRM tool with relevant data, working side-by-side with our sales operations manager.
- Based on your research and our sales and marketing strategies, you help shape direct marketing and outreach activities.

**What we’re looking for**:
- You’ve started your studies in business administration, economics, marketing, environmental sciences or similar fields.
- Researching and analyzing topics is your thing. And you're keen to deep dive into the world of carbon removal.
- You have a knack for lists (who doesn’t love a good Excel?) and combing through the internet to extract relevant information.
- You're structured, a good communicator, an eager and quick learner, and a team player.
- English or German native with a strong level of at least one of the other languages.
