In order to reinforce the Finance team in we are currently recruiting for a

**Director Financial Accounting**

As the Director Financial Accounting of Jet Aviation you will be responsible for successfully implementing and maintaining global accounting and reporting processes and standards. You will perform your tasks in line with the organization’s Vision and strategy. You will be collaborating closely with other Finance departments worldwide to ensure that accounting and reporting is globally aligned and executed effectively.

Description/Tasks:

- Ensuring that the Jet Aviation reporting is fully compliant with General Dynamics and Jet Aviation standards (US GAAP based)
- Leading the global implementation of new accounting standards across the Jet Aviation Group
- Updating and maintaining the group finance manual
- Providing accounting guidance to the finance staff across the globe related to proposed transactions to ensure conformity US-GAAP and other company policies and procedures
- Conducting research regarding the impact to financial statements of potential changes to accounting rules proposed by accounting standards setters and advises senior management regarding same
- Represent Jet Aviation with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.
- Coordinating the audit process with the external auditors
- Assisting with the integration efforts of acquired companies
- Mentoring and coaching finance staff in reporting and accounting matters
- Preparing and reviewing accounting positions related to complex transactions
- Working closely with other departments in
- and outside of finance (internal audit, tax etc)
- Support in enhancing and monitoring controls around financial reporting (ICFR)
- Perform balance sheet reviews in the various regions
- Lead and/or participate in projects to enhance the efficiency and the global governance around the accounting
- and reporting process. This includes the global ownership of the Chart of Accounts in the world-wide SAP S4 roll-out as well as an evaluation and potential replacement of the current consolidation/reporting tool (SAP BCS)

Qualification/Experience:

- Qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 7-10 years’ work experience in an auditing firm and/or international company
- Solid understanding of accounting, reporting and consolidation software (SAP (BW, R3, S4/HANA, BCS), OneStream)
- In depth understanding of accounting, reporting and consolidation processes and procedures
- In depth understanding of US-GAAP
- Results driven - able to execute with high personal accountability
- High business and financial acumen
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (THAT)
